Two large and fully furnished rooms for rent in the serene and secure neighbourhood Rivierenbuurt/Scheldebuurt, close to de Pijp and RAI. Available from August 15 onwards. The indicative rent is €1250 for each room, adjustable by certain parameters (e.g. possibility to pay lump-sum, need for registration and/or length of stay). Each room is suitable for one individual only (no couples). This is a hospitaverhuur arrangement, therefore you will be sharing with the landlady (me). Female tenants will be preferred. Students or young professionals are also welcome, as long as they can prove to have sufficient income/funds or designate a guarantor. Short term accommodation negotiable, minimum stay should be 2 months. Both rooms are fully furnished and lockable. Both have a 120×200 cm bed, wardrobe, bedside table, desk, chairs, carpet, curtains, light fixtures, etc. One room has a massive built-in wardrobe, while the other has a fridge-freezer exclusive to the occupant’s use. Some of the furniture in either room are new, and some 2.5 years old. You will be receiving a brand new set of bed linen and towels, as well as spares. Easy and fast transport to many locations (Centraal, Zuidas etc) by tram lines 3, 4 and 12. Europaplein station for Nord-Zuid metro (Lijn 52) is 10 minutes and RAI train/metro station is 15 minutes away by walk. Amstelstation is also easily accessible. Plenty of shopping amenities, cafes and restaurants nearby, as are lively streets such as Maasstraat, Scheldestraat, and Rijnstraat. The house is fully equipped with a combi fridge-freezer, dishwasher (both brand new), washer, dryer (both 2.5 years old) full size oven, microwave, kettle, coffeemaker, vacuum cleaner, steam tank iron, hair dryer, hair iron etc. The kitchen is also very well equipped. All machines and equipment are high quality brands. The kitchen (which double serves as a living room), the bathroom and the toilet will be shared. Utilities (electricity, water, gas, internet) as well as kitchen staples (oil, salt, spices, coffee, tea, detergents, toilet and kitchen rolls etc.) are included in the rent. This is not a party house, it will be ideal for people living a calm and normal life and minding their own business. The tenants are expected to: -Be neat, considerate and respectful. -Abide by financial obligations. -Be mindful about the environment. About me: I am a 45+ divorced female expat with an adult daughter who is in the process of moving out.
